- The silk has a soft and cool feeling on the skin. There is a typical silk chirp when kneaded lightly.
- The silk scarves and clothes have high breathability, one can almost not feel them.
- The ultimate test (not exactly recommended with your fine scarf) is by cutting and burning a bit of material. If there is burned protein smell and the ash becomes powder when pinching it, it is silk. If there is no burned protein smell and the ash still becomes powder when pinching it, it is cotton. If there is no burned protein smell and the “ash” is agglomerating in a block, it is polyester.
